About the neighborhood: Charlestown is one of Boston's oldest neighborhoods and is the home of some of our national treasures, including the USS Constitution, the nation's ship of state. The Massachusett people called the peninsula "Mishawum", and you can learn more about how they used the land on one of the interpretive signs that we'll run past on the Harborwalk. The run will also include Bunker Hill Monument, the Tobin and Zakim bridges, Mayor Tom Menino Park, the Spaulding Rehabilitation Center, and Charlestown Navy Yard.
Meet Your Run Leader: Alice is Boston Harbor Now's Chief of Policy and Planning and has a passion for outdoor recreation along the Harbor. When she's not running along the waterfront, you can find her sailing on the harbor, riding ferries across the harbor, and biking around the harbor. She's excited to chat about the history and future of the neighborhood that she calls home. Follow Alice on Twitter
