Welcome to Watercolour Workshop - Paint & Sip Evening! Join Natasha Blake aka Fuego Nails at Thingy Cafe to unwind, create, and connect with your inner artist in this informative watercolour workshop. Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to refine your technique, this class will guide you through the foundations and creative possibilities of watercolour painting.

Throughout the session, you’ll explore brush control, layering, colour blending, and composition — learning how to turn simple strokes into expressive works of art. With step-by-step guidance, you’ll build confidence as you develop your own artwork from start to finish, walking away with a completed watercolour masterpiece to be proud of.

The skills you’ll learn can be applied to future paintings, empowering you to continue creating long after the workshop ends. All materials are provided, and no prior experience is needed — just bring an open mind and a willingness to play with colour.

Come spend a relaxing, inspiring few hours surrounded by creativity, conversation, and the meditative flow of watercolour.

Tickets include 1 x glass of wine (red or white) and your own personal snack bowl.

About the artist:

Natasha Blake is a professional nail artist and the founder of Fuego Nails. Before nails, her canvas was paper. She started painting from a very young age, and when her mother noticed her natural interest, she invited Natasha to join her at a watercolour class at just 12 years old — and that’s where her love for painting truly began. From there, she continued exploring different artforms throughout her educational studies, experimenting with materials like acrylic, oil paints, and clay, which eventually led her on to complete a BA in Fine Art at Canterbury Christ Church University.

Now, through her workshops, Natasha hopes to share what she’s learned over the years and create a space where anyone can discover their own creativity. Her goal is to help people who might not consider themselves “artistic” to reconnect with the creative spark that's innate in everyone. She believes watercolour is a beautiful way to begin — it’s flexible, easy to work with, and forgiving enough to let you relax and enjoy the process. Give it a go!
