WATERCOLOR HOME PORTRAIT CLASS

About this Event

Whether it is the first home you purchased, your childhood home you grew up in, or a cabin that you spent your summers at, a watercolor portrait is a perfect way to honor these places be call "home."

This is a beginner's course that will walk you through using watercolor and pen to create a custom home portrait that you get to take home. With the houses sketched out for you prior to the class, we will begin the class talking a little about watercolor technique to get you started to create your painting. With the class capped at eight people, there will plenty of opportunities for questions, guidance, and support in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

All the tools will be provided to create this piece in class, so all you have to do is to come ready to create and you will leave with an 8x10" custom home portrait created by you.

*A picture of the home you would like to paint is required to send to instructor two weeks prior to the event, please send photos to lindsaymccallart@gmail.com.

*A calligraphy add-on is available at checkout, please include what you would like calligraphed on your painting when sending your photo to instructor

*Cancellations accepted up to 72 hours prior to the event start time. Refunds will not be allowed after this time.

Lindsay McCall is a local artist who is known for watercolor and acrylic work. She has created many custom home portraits for people over the years and is excited to help others create these meaningful pieces of art.
