Kits ship every Thursday starting June 5th, 2025. Have your kit (s) delivered to your door or choose to pick up in person and come explore the wonders of the wetland here at the ELC! Kits ordered on Wednesdays may not ship out until the following week on Thursday.

*In celebration of Juneteenth, no shipments will go out on June 19th. Any orders received by Monday June 16th, will ship out Wednesdasy June 18th.

The ELC is offering a Water Wizard Kit to keep children busy all summer long. The kit is mailed to homes and has all the supplies to learn, create, and play! New this year, kit materials will be in both English and Spanish!

Be a water wizard and experiment with items that sink or float, watch seeds come to life, and watch water work its magic in nature.

Go on a wetland safari, play a water babies matching game and help Sammy the Salmon Race to the River!

Kit contents: Explore & Play cards, materials to create your own pond, water color paints, water scavenger hunt, items for a sink or float experiment, planting puck with seeds, spray bottle, Wetland Safari guide, pond net, water babies matching game, a Race to the River board game, Nature Spy sticker and pencil.

Nature Spy Explorer Kits: Water Wizard Kit

The ELC’s Nature Spy Explorer Kits are sent right to your door and have all the supplies your budding naturalist will need to learn, create, and play. Engaging crafts, fun facts, and playful activities will help them discover the natural world that surrounds them – from the comfort of home and neighborhood! Kits are designed for children ages 4-8 (we hear that older children enjoy them too!). New this year, kit materials will be in both English and Spanish.

Refund/Cancellation Policy

If you are not completely satisfied with your Nature Spy Explorer kit, we would like to know about it!

We will accept return requests within 48 hours of opening the kit, with written explanation of why you would like to return it. If something is damaged, please include a photograph. We will fully refund you, if you are not satisfied.

If you would like to cancel your explorer kit order, we can issue a full refund, less a 10% processing fee, up to 4 days prior to the scheduled shipping/pick-up date.
