About this event

An informative session on watershed pollution detection through online monitoring and rule-based algorithm.

Natan Zuta, CEO of IOSight, will speak about the successful evolving deployment of the iShed platform for pollution detection in the northern watershed of Israel – the Jordan river and its streams. Started in 2016 as an AI platform for detecting quality exceptions and eliminating false positives, the project evolved to calculate the speed of pollution travel. It serves as the control center for Mekorot's watershed inspection team, and efficiently supports the Israeli water authority and Mekorot on early detection and action on water quality issues.

The iShed platform has become an incremental tool for river authorities and water intake to run their operations since then.
