Water in Northern Australia CRC Bid - Online Information & Feedback Forum 3

You are invited to participate in an online event to hear how the proposed Water in Northern Australia Cooperative Research Centre (WiNA CRC) could enable your business, and the north of Australia, to thrive. The online forum is an opportunity for you to get key information about this proposed centre and give feedback on how we could design it to better benefit you and your organisation. Your questions about the Bid will be answered and we will explain options for how organisations can be involved.

The WiNA CRC is a potentially transformational initiative for northern Australia that will leave a lasting legacy for generations. It will address water issues critical to the future of northern Australia that are currently stifling new development across the region, limiting the provision of essential services and directly affecting human health and community capacity.

While there is some excellent work being undertaken at an organisational level to address these issues, a quantum change in our ability to deliver water for sustainable development and Closing the Gap Outcomes across the north is needed. This requires a concerted effort in developing new ways of doing things and more appropriate technology by all stakeholders over a 7-10 year timeframe. The WiNA CRC is currently the only platform for such focus and collaboration, that can work right across northern Australia. Your participation will help make it a reality.
