Dr. Yasir Qadhi is Dean of Academic Affairs for AlMaghrib Institute. He earned his Bachelor’s from College of Hadith and Islamic Sciences, Madinah University, Master’s in Islamic Theology from College of Da‘wah, and PhD in Religious Studies, Yale University. Dr. Qadhi has authored many books, is a professor at Rhodes College, and the Resident Scholar of Memphis Islamic Center.
Ustath Monzer Taleb is a resident scholar of Dallas for 38 years. Studied under his late father Dr. Mostafa Taleb, graduate of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif. Ustath Monzer is a special instructor at Bayyinah Institute. He has conducted many seminars and lectures on Islamic history as well as other motivational and personal growth, family, and leadership.
Baitulmaal is charity that has humanitarian projects all over the world. One of these projects involves filling more than 100 water tanks with clean drinking water every week. Learn more on Sunday, January 27, 2019, at MCM.
