The Studio space in South Brisbane – is boutique so you will not be overwhelmed by large numbers and will be able to work with
Cross-Media Artist – Wyn Vogel
to explore the latest Water Colour techniques and styles!
Create your own colours and vibe – size and shape to suit your space!
Materials you will need – you will be able to buy from the Studio if you don’t own any:
- Water colour paints – colours of your choice –
- Water colour brushes – good fluffy thirsty brushes to give you great washes and, finer rigger brushes to add line and detail
- Notebook and pen
- 2HB Pencils
A full sheet of Arches 300gsm Cold Press – Water colour paper will be supplied – this usually can be split to make 2 full paintings or you can experiment on 1/4 sheets and make 4 Works to frame and hang. More paper is available and/or you are welcome to bring water colour paper if you have a special weight or preference over and above the 300gsm Cold Pressed!
Coffee and afternoon cake/snack included – BYO wine if you prefer a tipple while you paint!

Our goal, is to apply the ‘Research’ that has shown that the use of the ‘Arts’ – has a material beneficial effect on people in a variety of settings, both as an aid to a personal sense of well-being and as a beneficial stimulant to specific areas of treatment and recovery, in healing environments.
