Coal mining is bad news for nature and people. It is a big polluter, stretches water resources thin and forces communities to relocate.

Join us in exploring the critical connection between water and coal mining, and in how the EU's strong water legislation - the EU Water Framework Directive (WFD) - can be used to better protect water resources and to put a stop to further destruction from the mining industry.
