Event Details

On June 5, a small and influential group of Atlanta’s entrepreneurs, startups, small business owners and local leaders will come together for a half-day of listening, collaboration and dialogue, and we’d like to invite you to follow the conversation online. Rhonda Abrams, a noted small business expert and national USA Today columnist, will moderate a discussion on what matters most now to the growth and success of Metro Atlanta’s small businesses and entrepreneurs. Joining her to lead breakout sessions are notable local authorities Richard WarnerAlan Butler of "Butler on Business" and Tino Mantella, the Technology Association of Georgia's president and CEO.

WHO | Atlanta area entrepreneurs, small business owners and local leaders.

WHAT | An interactive dialogue, streamed live online, focused on how Atlanta’s small businesses and entrepreneurs plan to grow and succeed this year and what they need most now from the organizations that serve them. In-person participants will set the agenda, and topics may include access to capital, finding the right talent, extending your reach into global markets, investing strategically in technology, the regulatory environment and others.

WHEN | Tuesday, June 5 ~ General Session at 10am - 11am

Breakout Sessions 11:15 a.m. to 2 p.m. (follow along via #SmallBizATL and Stofiy.com/Dell).

WHERE | Follow the discussion in real time online at www.fittotweet.com/live/golocal and join the conversation via Twitter using the hashtag #smallbizATL.

WHY | Entrepreneurship, small business and job creation have rightfully dominated the national conversation in recent years. The attention means small businesses are getting the respect they deserve. But we also need to make sure they get the support they need and that local priorities aren’t overshadowed by national headlines.
