The Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality, in partnership with the Oklahoma Indian Nations Chapter of the Solid Waste Assoc. of North America, has scheduled a seminar designed to fulfill state requirements for annual refresher training (or meet 1/2 of the hourly requirement for initial training) by solid waste landfill and transfer station owners/operators/staff. This training will review the components of your facility’s Waste Exclusion Plan (WEP) and provide information on the identification of hazardous, radioactive and other prohibited wastes, regulatory requirements, and facility responsibilities. Attendees will receive training certificates; SWANA members can receive 4 hours of SWANA Continuing Ed Units. Morning refreshments and lunch are included.
