Experience the "Live Presentation and Tasting" cooking demonstration alongside a master chef. Learn about the concepts, techniques, and hidden secrets of Japanese food, and enjoy a special dish made with the chef’s own hands.

This session's guest is Jeff Ramsey, the head chef at Babe, a famous restaurant serving “fun dining” for guests to enjoy their signature 'Japas' (modern Japanese tapas) in Kuala Lumpur. Mr. Ramsey, with a background of sushi training in Japan, is the first and still only American to earn a Michelin Star outside of the US. He will prepare his own style Japanese food menu, specially planned for this event.

One session can accommodate up to 40 guests, first-come-first-serve.

Chef Introduction:

Jeff Ramsey

Mr. Ramsey came to Japan to study sushi in 1998, and in 2005 he was offered to lead the opening of the Tapas Molecular Bar of the 6-star Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Tokyo, where he earned his first Michelin Star in 2008. After that, he opened his own restaurant “Babe” in Kuala Lumpur, serving the “fun dining”.

Jeff Ramsey（Babe）

1998年に寿司職人修行のため来日し、2005年にマンダリンオリエンタル東京ホテルのタパス・モラキュラー・バーの初代シェフとして招かれた。2008年にはミシュランの星を獲得。その後、「ファン・ダイニング」を提唱する自身のレストラン「Babe」をクアラルンプールでオープン。
