Bring Your Family and Friends and help us celebrate one of the Largest Theatrical Events in WASHINGTON State!

The Washington Midsummer Renaissance Faire in Bonney Lake, Washington features full contact jousting, world-class fencing demonstrations, country dancing, games, music, magicians, puppet shows, and more!

Our Gates are open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. all three weekends!

Children age 5 years old and younger are FREE!

August 3rd & 4th - Heroes & Villains: A Cosplay Adventure

For our 10th Anniversary Season, something new and never done before is coming to the Village of Merriwick! The Queen has sent word throughout the Realm to gather all the bravest Heroes & Heroines and the most deprave Villains & Vixens to celebrate opening weekend and all things Cosplay! Whether you take inspiration from your favorite comic, anime, sci-fi, fantasy, movie or TV show (with a Renaissance era twist?), we invite you to celebrate with the townsfolk and take part in the BIGGEST costume party in the Pacific Northwest. Do you have what it takes to join the ranks of our greatest Heroes or Villains?

August 10th & 11th - The Enchanted World of Faeries & Goblins

This weekend is dedicated to all things magical and fantastical in an enchanted world filled with faeries, pixies, dragons, unicorns, trolls, goblins and every mythical being in-between! Dress up in your favorite whimsical attire – from fairie (or dragon) wings to unicorn horns and join Merriwick in a mystical romp through the faerie realms – magic & wonder will fill the air! Acclaimed fairy artist Amy Brown will be in Merriwick for this weekend ONLY! Meet & get her autograph from 1pm – 3pm!

August 17th & 18th - A Pirate's Plunder: Swashbucklers & Scallywags

Aaaarrrgh, me hearties! Hoist the mainsails, don your best attire & eye-patch, and polish your peg leg as Merriwick is overrun with Pirates! Join us for a weekend for all things nautical, piratical, and fun! On our final weekend, we invite you all to unleash your inner pirate with sea shanties, shenanigans, swashbucklin’ and plunderin’! Join the rollicking crews of the Freedom’s Revenge & the Emerald Rose and sing along with the SeaDogs in a closing weekend that will surely be a treasure to remember!

How much do I pay for parking?

Parking is a large farm field and there is NO fee for parking. Please lock your vehicle. The WMRF and WRAES is not responsible for lost/stolen/damaged vehicles or property in the parking lot.

Are children under 5 years old Free and do I need a ticket for them?

Children 5 years old and younger are free with paying adult. Please get a ticket for your child. There is NO charge for this ticket.

Can I buy tickets at the Towne Gate when I arrive or do I have to buy them online?

Yes, tickets are available for purchase at the Towne Gate when you arrive at the Faire. Cash or Credit Card may be used to purchase.

Are pets allowed at the Faire?

Yes, pets are allowed at the Faire if they are friendly, accustomed to large crowds and kept on a leash at all times. Please pick up after your pet and don't forget to bring extra water.

When can I check in for Camping?

Check in for camping starts on Friday before each weekend from 12 noon - 12 midnight. If you arrive on Saturday morning for camping, please go to the Towne Gate for check in. Camping@washingtonfaire.com

Is it ok to have fire pits or candles in my camp?

The only flames allowed in camping are those with an on/off valve. Propane stoves, bbq grills, and lamps are allowed. Wood, candle, charcoal devices are not permitted due to the Burn Ban imposed by the County at that time.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the Ale Houses?

Only adults 21+ with valid state issued ID may enter the Ale Houses and enjoy adult beverages.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

You may print your ticket or have your ticket scanned on the Eventbrite App at the Towne Gate.

Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?

Yes, you can give your ticket to a friend or family member.

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?

Yes, one person in the family can buy the tickets for all in the group.

Are tickets the same price online as they are at the Towne Gate?

Tickets bought online are subject to a small convenience fee from Eventbrite. This fee is not charged for tickets purchased at the Towne Gate when you arrive at the Faire.
