About this event
The Spring Meeting is a 2-day symposium with Day 1 being student-focused and Day 2 covering “Applied Microbiology from the Isolate to the Ecosystem.” For the first time we will are offering Virtual Attendance for the Saturday Conference.

Day 1: Early Career Meeting

• Day 1 of the meeting is student and postdoc focused and organized by the ASM Student Chapter from Uniformed Services University. Students at all levels are welcome.
• The vision for the first day is to provide a platform for students from all 4 of the Student Chapters in our Branch and local universities to learn about careers in microbial sciences, network, and present their research.
• Dr. Rita Colwell and Dr. Joel Kostka (ASM Distinguished Lecturer) will speak on their careers
