Event description

Description

Most brewfests offer expensive VIP tickets that allow you to sample unique or special beers. In contrast, our brewfest taps these beers throughout the day for everyone, at no extra charge. In addition, many of our participanting breweries send their own reps, which gives you the chance to talk to the people who know the beers best.

Here are some other reasons the Fall Brewfest is unique:

  • Beautiful wooded setting overlooking the Delaware River (not your typical "parking lot" brewfest!)
  • Mouthwatering food vendors
  • 100% of proceeds benefit Washington Crossing Historic Park
  • Special commemorative glass
  • Revolutionary War reenactors mingle with you during the event (selfies, anyone?)

How is the Fall Brewfest different from the annual Spring Brewfest held in May?

The Fall Brewfest will give you the chance to sample the many flavors of fall. Whether you're a fan of ciders, harvest and pumpkin ales, or sour beers, we'll have options for you! We're also lining up food trucks that will complement the range of ciders, sours and seasonal beers on tap.

Both Brewfests have earned a regional reputation of offering a great selection of rare and unique beers from dozens of breweries and situating the event in a wooded, riverside section of Washington Crossing Historic Park (PA). Proceeds from both brewfests benefit the non-profit Friends of Washington Crossing Park, whose volunteers run both events and other park traditions, such as the annual Crossing reenactment.

Where is the Fall Brewfest held?

The Brewfest is held in Washington Crossing, located in beautiful Bucks County, Pa. The Brewfest site is located right next to the Delaware River in a shaded, wooded landscape. It is in the upper part of the park, behind the historic Thompson Neely House and Farmstead. This is across River Road from Bowman's Hill Wildflower Preserve, which is located 2.5 miles from the center of New Hope, Pa. and 4.5 miles from the four-way stop sign in Washington Crossing, Pa.

Do I need a valid photo ID, even if I am obviously over 21?

Pennsylvania state law stipulates that everyone who enters the Brewfest must present a valid ID. We will check all IDs at the gate.

Can I re-enter the Fall Brewfest once I've left?

Once you have left the grounds, you may not re-enter. Bathrooms, water and food are available on the grounds.

Can I buy beer at the Fall Brewfest?

The brewfest is a sampling event only. Participants will receive two-ounce pours of many different kinds of beers.

How can I get involved as a volunteer, food vendor or participating brewery?

Volunteers, breweries and food vendors interested in participating may contact us (using the Contact Us page on our website) for more information.

All volunteers must be 21 or older to participate in the actual brewfest, but those under 21 may participate in setting up and cleaning up. Volunteers are not permitted to consume any alcoholic beverage before or during their shift.

What are my transportation/parking options?

Parking will be clearly marked. Please designate a driver (a limited number of DD tickets are available) or take advantage of Uber or Lyft after the event.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Yes, please print out your ticket and bring it with you. We will scan your ticket at the gate as you enter.

Is my fee or ticket transferrable?

No, tickets are not transferrable or refundable. The name on your ID should match the name on your ticket.
