Washington County Budget Listening Tour - Commissioner District 1
Date and time
Description
Building an annual County budget is, well, complicated!
Do you want to know how the process works and whether you can influence budget decisions?
Beyond balancing the dollars and cents, how should your County government prioritize a vast array of services and issues to meet the complex needs of a very diverse population?
Please join the Washington County Board of Commissioners for an opportunity to learn about the budget, get information on how you can participate, and share in an engaging conversation about County budget priorities.
Throughout the month of November, four separate, 1.5-hour listening sessions will be held in various locations around Washington County—one in each of the four commissioner districts. All are welcome at any or all of the sessions which will include light refreshments and interpretation services upon request.
Please use the "REGISTER" button above to RSVP for this session (no need to print or bring a “ticket”) or pick one of the others that fits your schedule, at a location near you:
-
Wednesday, November 13; Hillsboro Brookwood Library; 6 pm to 7:30 pm
-
Monday, November 18; Meadow Park Middle School; 6 pm to 7:30 pm
-
Monday, November 25; Tigard Library; 6 pm to 7:30 pm
Can’t make it to any of these events, but want to help craft the Board’s priorities? Please send an email to CAO@co.washington.or.us with the subject “Budget Tour” and tell us which issue(s) should be top priorities for the County to address in the next five years.
