Event Details

Phi Delta Theta's Annual Crabfeast is on Saturday, September 23rd, 2017. The menu will consist of crabs, burgers, hotdogs and a variety of drink options. Beer will also be sold on site. T-shirts are available for purchase on Eventbrite or at the door for $20. If you wish to purchase a shirt please select the appropriate size in the ticket form. 

The goal of this event is to raise money for The Robert Packard Center for ALS Research. They are a research center at Johns Hopkins who facilitate intense scientific collaboration across institutional and administrative boundaries in order to find a cure for Lou Gehrig's Disease (ALS). Most of the proceeds will be donated to The Packard Center and a small portion of the proceeds will be given to the Maryland Gamma chapter of Phi Delta Theta. We hope to see you there!

FAQs

 

What is ALS?

ALS is Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, a degenerative disease which primarily effects the brain and spinal nerves. It is also known as Lou Gehrig's disease after legendary baseball player Lou Gehrig.

 

What is The Robert Packard Center?

They are a research center at Johns Hopkins who facilitate intense scientific collaboration across institutional and administrative boundaries in order to find a cure for Lou Gehrig's Disease (ALS). For more information, visit alscenter.org.

 

What happens if it rains?

The event will still go on. We have a large tent to provide shade in the sun and to keep our guests dry if it rains.

 

Can I bring a cooler into the event?

No, due to the nature of our event we ask that guest refrain from bringing in outside food or beverage.

 

How do I find the location for the event?

The event is located at the Truslow Boathouse on the Chester River. If you follow S Cross St south it will be on the left well marked with signs for parking. Also, if you enter Truslow Boat House, Chestertown, MD 21620 into google maps the location will come up.

Is my ticket registration/ticket transferrable? 

No. 

 

Are there any refunds issued?
