About this event

Washashore Music & Arts Festival presented by Provincetown Brewing Co. with executive production by Live from Provincetown and NYA Presents is an annual gathering celebrating the union of live music, good beer, and the everlasting singularity of Provincetown. Our village at the end of the world has long been a safe haven for rebels, adventurers, free spirits, artists, and liberated souls of all stripes. The Washashore Music & Arts Festival is committed to uplifting and reflecting Provincetown’s unique soul with performers that embody free expression, individuality, beauty, acceptance, and joy. People who attend the festival will be participating in Provincetown Brewing Co.’s commitment to #draftivism - giving back to progressive causes while having a good time.

What You Will Experience

  • 3 days filled with music, drag, comedy and parties that go through the night. Don't forget your pizza slice or 3 from good 'ol Spiritus after the clubs have closed.
  • A place to meet your fellow Queer Fam from near and afar. Sharing everlasting moments together in a safe space that encourages freedom of expression and individuality!
  • A music and arts festival like nothing you've attended before. Ptown is not known for being straight and narrow. For over a century this dirty little 'ash tray' of a town has been a safe haven for artists and the queer community. During the roaring 20's the town was considered "the most artistic place in the world". Tennessee Williams was one of many influential artists that chose to reside here. In 1965, Nina Simone performed in town during a visit with her friend Bob Thompson, a short lived yet accomplished black painter. A riot broke out in front of Spiritus Pizza in 1990 over the arrest of a local drag queen known as, Vanilla. Let's just say it involved.... flying pizzas, ice cream cones and a golden plunger. The violence did not exceed that of a food fight and Vanilla was set free, but let us never forget the moment she kicked out the back window of a cop car in stilettos.
  • Be sure to book your stay early! There are so many amazing B&Bs, hotels and houses to choose from.
  • 3 Day Pass Holders get special perks like free fitness and exclusive events.
  • This is a 21+ event. Valid ID is required upon ticket.
