The WASC Public Hearing on the accreditation redesign will take place on Friday, November 9, 2012 from 10:30 – 11:00 am followed by the Commission Public Session from 11:30 am - 12:15 pm at the Marina del Rey Marriott Hotel.
The purpose of the Public Hearing is to allow the Commission’s constituents and members of the public to provide oral comments about the accreditation redesign proposals and the draft 2013 Handbook of Accreditation directly to the Commission. These comments will become part of the formal record and will inform the Commission’s final action.
The purpose of the Public Session is to allow the public to observe the Commission as the Policy and Planning, Finance and Operations, and Structural Change Committees and the WASC President provide their reports to the full Commission. This will be followed by a discussion of the draft 2013 Handbook of Accreditation and related policies.
Please register to attend the Public Session. While registering, you will have the option to sign-up to speak at the Public Hearing.
