On Jun 24, Holy Fang Studios is releasing the second installment of their annual “Warriors” series, made for and with the Endometriosis Foundation of America, featuring 18 exclusive tracks from femme artists, including Jessica Lea Mayfield, Rozzi, Computerwife, Lizzie No and Swordes among others. Proceeds from the album and the accompanying benefit concert at DROM in NYC will go to the Endometriosis Foundation of America, the pre-eminent global organization that aims to raise awareness about the condition and support those who suffer from it.
Endometriosis affects 1 in 10 people born with female reproductive systems, and “Warriors II” seeks to empower “endo-warriors” to come together through music and find grace, catharsis and joy in community. The benefit concert will feature performances from artists involved in the “Warriors” project, including Overcoats, Swordes, Sofia Zarzuela, AJ Lee & Blue Summit and Veronica Everheart, as well as the Ambra Artists String Quartet. Tickets start at just $25 in advance and $30 day of, with VIP seats available for $40.
