The UW-Stout Veterans Club is holding the second annual Warrior Charity Challenge on May 3rd on the UW-Stout Nelson Soccer Field.The UW-Stout Veterans Club is a campus organization centered on veterans, National Guard members, reservists, Reserve Officer Training Corps cadets, and the friends and families that support them. The aim of our organization is to assist in the transition to college life and put resources in the hands of veterans to help enable academic and professional success. The Veterans Club is a promoter for the social welfare of our community, veterans, and the events and activities that support them.
The Warrior Charity Challenge is a buddy-team endurance course. Proceeds from the event will go to support the Chippewa Valley Veterans Homeless Center and UW-Stout Veterans Club. The Chippewa Valley Veterans Homeless Center provides transitional housing for thirty homeless veterans residing in any of Western Wisconsin’s twenty-three counties. Some of the services offered by the shelter are case management, transportation, food, employment, and educational assistance.

Steeple Chase / 5k
Participants will go through the course with a buddy, and individual participants will be paired up on the day of the event.
