Warm Up to Winter Biking: Winter Bike to Work Day
Event Information
Description
It's cold outside but that doesn't mean you have to give up riding your bike. In fact, we want to encourage you to warm up to cold- weather biking on International Winter Bike to Work Day.
This year we will have our pit stop at Gravelly Point on the Mount Vernon Trail. No matter where you're going (whether to work, school, errands, or a casual ride), stop by to say hello and grab some BikeArlington and Capital Bikeshare swag.
But wait... there's more!
This year, we have expanded and added more ways to enjoy Winter Bike to Work Day. In addition to our traditional pit stop at Gravelly Point, we have partnered with four local coffee shops around Arlington. Simply bike to the coffee shop of your choice, show your Eventbrite ticket (on your smartphone or printed out) to receive a discount on a hot beverage or free pastry (details below). You'll also be able to pick up BikeArlington swag at these coffee shop pit stops as well.
