Description

Enjoy the party like atmosphere of Warlock Summer Smash 2017. This is an afternoon competition that will run into the evenings. What else do you have to do on a Saturday night?!?! Summer Smash 2017 is an individual athlete event. The goal of our competition is to crown the fittest person in the Hudson River Valley. 3 Events for all divisions plus a final for the Men's and Women RX Division. Details will be released in the upcoming weeks.

Events will start at 2pm and go until 10 pm. Be prepared for a fun afternoon / night of workouts, music and community.

Early Bird Registration - April 26, 2017 - May 10, 2017

Regular Registration - May 11, 2017 - June 30, 2017

Late Registration - July 1, 2017 - July 13, 2017.

There will be no registrations the day of the event.

Event 1: "Ride With Fran" - Score is the time it takes to complete all reps (8 Minute cap)

Buy In and Cash Out- 25 Cal on Assault Bike

Thrusters - RX @95/65 | Scaled 75/55 | Scaled 50+ 65/45

Pull Ups for all RX divisions - (Scaled will have a burpees over the barbell)

Event 2: "Macho Man" - You pick the weight. Every minute on the minute until failure or 15 Minute Cap. Score is weight x total number of reps.

EMOM Until failure (15 Round Cap)

3 Power Cleans

3 Front Squats

3 Shoulder to Overhead

Event 3: 14 Minute AMRAP. Score is total number of reps during the 14 Minutes

22 Power Snatches - RX @75/55 | Scaled 65/45 | Scaled 50+ 45/34

22 Toes to Bar | Scaled Knee's to Chest (Open standards) | Scaled 50+ Abmat Sit Ups

The division you can enter in are as follows:

RX Division (18-34) - This division is for the athletes that compete on a regular basis. This division is for athletes that can RX all movements and anything that comes out of the hopper they are comfortable doing. RX all Open workouts

Scaled Division (18-34) - This division is for athletes who need to scale movements. Thrusters @ 75/55, Knee's to Chest, Power Snatches @ 65/45 , Box jumps (step ups are okay). Scaled most or all Open workouts

Masters RX 35 to 50 - This division is for athletes that can RX all movements and anything that comes out of the hopper they are comfortable doing. RX all Open workouts

Masters RX 50+ - This division is for masters athletes that can RX most or all of The Open workouts for their age division.

Masters Scaled 35 to 50 - This division is for athletes who need to scale movements. Thrusters @ 65/45, Knee's to Chest, Power Snatches @ 65/45 , Box jumps (step ups are okay). Scaled most or all Open workouts

Masters Scaled 50+ - This division is for athletes who need to scale movements. Thrusters @ 45/35, Sit Ups, Power Snatches @ 45/35 , Box jumps (step ups are okay). Scaled most or all Open workouts.
