Ward 2 DC Council Democratic Candidate Forum

Live captioning will be provided at the event, and a livestream will be available on Facebook from the Woman's National Democratic Club facebook page.

The Woman's National Democratic Club (WNDC) has a maximum capacity of 250. We will have to deny entry once the venue is full due to a strict fire code and respecting the wishes of our hosts.

If your ticket is reserved under someone else's name, you should give the name of the person who reserved it, and then you will be asked to fill out a sign in sheet.

The doors will open early for those who registered tickets at 6:15. We will only allow those with tickets to enter until 6:35. Then, based on how full the room is, we will begin allowing individuals without tickets to enter in small groups from 6:35-6:45. If we are still not at capacity at 6:45, we will allow anyone to enter until we reach capacity.

We will have two lines, one for folks with reserved tickets (either under their name or another name), and one for people without tickets.

As a reminder, the program will begin at 7:00 and run until 9:00 (the addition of one more candidate has extended the length of the program past 8:30). The address of the WNDC is 1526 New Hampshire Ave NW.

Join the Woman's National Democratic Club and co-hosts DC for Democracy, Jews United for Justice, Greater Greater Washington, DC Working Families Party, United Food and Commercial Workers Local 400, SEIU 32BJ, Gertrude Stein Democrats, DC Democratic Women's Club, Washington Teacher's Union, and others to ask candidates for DC's Ward 2 Council seat about their vision and priorities for the Ward and the District.

Candidates Kishan Putta, Patrick Kennedy, Jordan Grossman, John Fanning, Daniel Hernandez and Yilin Zhang are confirmed to attend. Councilmember Jack Evans has not filed for re-election but has been invited.
