Each Wanderlust & Wine event has a country or region theme and include the following 3 activities:

1) One or two ice-breaker activities, to stimulate conversation and help you get to know everyone at the event

2) A snack or food item from the themed country or region for us to share

3) Knowledge sharing; in the form of interesting trivia or attendees who have visited or other guests

This month’s theme is: ICELAND

"Iceland, is a mountainous island nation in the north Atlantic Ocean, located between Europe and North America. Though not part of the continental mainland, the country is considered Nordic European. The name of the country—Iceland—may not be that appropriate: although 10% of Iceland is covered by glaciers, it has a surprisingly mild climate and countless geothermal hot-spots and hot springs. The native spelling ("Ísland") is appropriate in English as well. Tipping isn't done in Iceland and driving off-road is illegal and destroys the nature."

This is a lovely little wine bar, but don't worry, if you don't drink wine, they have beer and other beverages as well. This is more about the "Wanderlust" than the wine. We love this place - the staff is friendly and accommodating.
