Event description

Description

On the first Sunday of every month Wander Oxford Walking Tours operate a walking tour in aid of Oxfam, a charity very close to our hearts. Oxfam has it's origins in the beautiful city of Oxford and this special tour will share with you the history of Oxfam, finishing at the UK's first ever permanent charity shop in Broad Street which still supports the critical work that Oxfam performs today.

All income from this tour will be donated to Oxfam. The tour will take in all that Oxford has to offer but will also include a brief history of Oxfam and a request for donations at the tour's conclusion. Places are limited to 30 attendees and due to our tour's popularity, advance booking is highly recommended.

Tour highlights include

The history and work of Oxfam
Colleges of Oxford University
The Bodleian Library
The Sheldonian Theatre
