It is the 20th anniversary of the Social Survey of 1996. The survey is being repeated to see what has changed and what is still the same. We are partnering up with the Social Survery organisers to feed in the survey but also as an opportunity to listen to you locally and nationally.
If the Women's Equality Party were to ask you: what do you want? What would you say?
- Want to meet Sophie Walker?
- Want to help us understand what women want in 2016?
- Then join us on the 7th of November 7pm for this and more
Understanding the views and experiences of British women are vital for shaping the UK’s next steps, yet recent debate has largely left women at the margins.
As the other political parties continue to fumble over the “woman question”, WE know that it’s much more straightforward: we just ask them.
We will offer women a space in which to share the realities of their lived experience. And we will listen carefully. The responses will be combined with findings from all over the UK areas as part of the "What Women Want 2.0" campaign and will give us better information about the hopes of women across the country. You do not need to be a member of the party to come along and engage.
