Event description

Description

In the United Nations report Making Migration Work For All, Secretary-General Antonio Guterres wrote, "Managing migration is one of the most urgent and profound tests of international cooperation in our time." Join Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service as we explore trends and impacts of global migration. This timely discussion comes ahead of the UN's consideration of the Global Compact on Refugees and Global Compact on Migration this fall. SFS faculty, alumni, family, and students are encouraged to join.

Mr. Dujarric previously served as Spokesperson for UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan from 2005 to 2006 and then as Deputy Communications Director for UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon from 2006 to 2007. He graduated from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service in 1988.

Daniel Byman is Vice Dean for Undergraduate Affairs and a Professor in the Security Studies Program and Government Department at SFS.
