2016 was a challenging year for the residents of Fort McMurray and we’d like to help make 2017 a little better. Higgerty Law, headquartered in Calgary Alberta is establishing roots in Fort McMurray. We will be holding community meetings on Sunday February 26th to answer any questions and provide guidance to residents regarding the Walmart Contaminated Food Class Action Lawsuit, the ATCO Gas Explosion Class Action Lawsuit and Wildfire Insurance Claims for Residents.
Information about the Wal-Mart Contaminated Food Class Action
A class action lawsuit has been filed against Wal-Mart Canada Corp. (“WWC”) in relation to its store in Fort McMurray, Alberta based on allegations that the store sold contaminated food to customers at the Ft. McMurray location. 174 Charges have been laid against WWC for numerous health violations regarding the Public Health Act.
