Event description

Description

This is a guided walk around Kings Cross including much of the redevelopment project. We will visit two stations, a research lab, a beach, and a new town square and cover 800 years of history. We will talk about the industrial heritage and look at how old structures have been brought up to date with new uses.

The walk will take in new sites including The Francis Crick Institute, Granary Square and Handyside Gardens as well as older spaces such as Kings Cross Station, St Pancras Old Church and the Regents Canal.

The tour will be led by Daniel Hausherr who is a newly-qualified Camden tour guide with a love of industry, history and green spaces.

Please meet at the Henry Moore sculpture on Euston Road in front of Kings Cross Station.
