Description

Synopsis :

The old town of Jakarta was dubbed as the “Queen of the East” because of its grand and exquisiteness during its time. We will stroll back to Batavia’s (name of Jakarta during the Dutch Colonization era) golden era. Here was a city where many cultures met and mixed together to became a melting pot. The 500-years-old city was initially a small port of a Hindu kingdom, but later it evolved to become the biggest port in Nusantara (name of the Archipelago of Indonesia). You will be guided to walk along the Kalibesar Canal which was the vein heart of the city to observe the historical buildings. It seems that the buildings crave to whisper the tales about their past glorious moments. In this area the stories about the first biggest trading company in the world were conserved. Let stroll back to the past with us.
