Dan Lummis is a native Houstonian who graduated from The Kinkaid School. He attended Vanderbilt University where he received his degree in business, then went on to earn a masters from Belmont University. He began his career working for the Houston Texans, and then founded and successfully operated a company in the luxury transportation business.

Dan lives a life in recovery. He attended several treatment centers and realized he could not achieve sobriety while taking prescription drugs during treatment. After getting sober, he was inspired to start a treatment facility that is truly abstinence based, not one that gives residents drugs to get off drugs. Dan hopes to give residents at The Orchard access to a life free from substances.
