Join us in our mindful, meditative walk in the heart of Vancouver. We'll spend about 15 minutes getting settled in and meeting new people.
Leeza will guide the walk, which can have as many abreast as the path will allow. Just prior to taking our first step, she'll give a brief overview on the purpose of walking meditation and invite us into being present with the walk.
This particular walk will begin and end at the parking lot next to Fort Vancouver Historic Site, which is just west of the Pearson Air Museum on E 5th St. Not the museum lot. We'll be standing by the sign!
We'll walk the trail, over the land bridge to the river, then west along Columbia Way into downtown and taking a restroom break at Black Rock Coffee at Broadway and Evergreen. Which gives us an opportunity to get to know each other more. We'll then complete the circle by proceeding down Evergreen back towards the Fort.
This path has moderate changes in elevation and easily accomplished by most, and those who require wheelchair access.
More locations for these meditation walks will be added, as interests grows. This is a free community event!
