Create a Walk in Your Area:

Here are some suggestions to get your Solidarity Walk organized:

1-Ask friends, local organizations, community groups, and faith-based organizations to participate.

2-Determine your route and if a local permit is required.  Call your local city hall for this information.

3-A general press release will be provided, so all you have to do is fill in your information and submit it to local papers and present on your social media platforms.  Don’t forget to utilize WOCPSCN platforms, Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, wocpsn.com.

4-You can contact local domestic violence organizations and inform them of your Walk.  Provide all aspects of your Walk under the banner of Walking In Silence for the Silenced through WOCPSCN.

5-Ask participants to wear lavender or purple and bring a photo or the name of the individual they are walking in honor.

We aren't walking for the cause
