Walk with FHAA in 2018's Lunar New Year Parade
Date and time
Description
Celebrate 2018, the Year of the Dog, by marching in the famous Lunar New Year Parade** in Flushing, Queens -- the most diverse and dynamic community in the United States!
The Forest Hills Asian Association will be marching in this year's Lunar New Year Parade Year of the Dog on Saturday, February 17, 11am with the Greater Flushing Chamber of Commerce.
Please RSVP to this event if you plan on walking with us so we can accomodate everyone. We'll head off to the parade site together from the church.
We will gather at St. George's Church (Queens) from 9:30 to 10:30am to connect and stay warm with hot coffee and donuts before heading to the parade site together.
The parade (itself) lasts approximately an hour; please make sure to dress warmly and in layers. Afterwards, enjoy the diverse culture and amazing food in our community.
