Walk To The Best End of Town, The Sweet Centre

This specially commissioned walk with sound and live action explores the story of William Rothenstein, a Jewish immigrant who settles in Bradford at the turn of the century.  This immersive sound walk by oral historian Irna Qureshi will transport you back to Bradford in1903.  Experience the sights and sounds that William saw and walk through Manningham, then known as the ‘best end of town’.  Participants will be required to load MP3 players with pre-recorded tracks from the Fabric web site: www.fabricculture.co.uk (Individuals will be notified when these are available at the end of August).

Meet at The Sweet Centre on Lumb Lane at 7.00 for 7.30 pm departure. Walk returns to the Sweet Centre.
