Join us on Saturday, April 29 for Walk to Stop the Stigma community fundraiser. This is a call to action to recognize addiction as a medical condition! This is a call to demand more resources for research! This is a call to provide greater access to treatment! Join us in making a statement that this is important to our families and to our communities. Help us send a message that we need resources to help our addicted loved ones, that they need compassion, understanding and support.
We ask that each walker raise a minimum of $50 in pledges to cover the cost of participation. Participating walkers can ask friends and family to pledge donations of as little as $10. After signing up for a ticket, each participating walker will receive a link to a unique fundraising page to pledge donations.
This half-day event will include hundreds of participants from across the region walking the beautiful Walkway Across the Hudson in Poughkeepsie. This three-mile walk is perfect for participants of every age and benefits our important mission to help individuals and families struggling from addiction.
Register today and let’s walk together to make an impact on the addiction epidemic. We can make a difference, but we need your help in spreading the word and gathering support from friends and family through pledged donations for your walk.
If you cannot participate in the walk, but would like to make a donation in support of the fundraiser, you can pledge directly on our PayPal page by clicking here.
