Walk on the Wild Side
Saturday, March 9, 2013 from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM (CST)
Take a “Walk on the Wild Side” in support of local wildlife and tomorrow’s veterinarians. Express your wild side with face painting from the Zoo Lady’s Zoo Crew while encountering animals, including the Clinic’s resident hawks and owls.
This new dinner and auction event will feature both a silent and live auction. Auction items will include adventure packages and one-of-a-kind animal footprints, and other art work by wild animals, including Clinic residents Nokomis, a great horned owl, and Odin, a red-tailed hawk.
Entry price before March 1 is $85 per person for general admission and $125 per person for VIP guests. VIP guests gain entry to a pre-event reception from 5:30 to 6:30 pm where they can enjoy a closer encounter with resident raptors and local zoo animals, bid on exclusive auction items, and celebrate Wildlife for Life recipients Mark and Jackie Yarborough.
