Event Details

Join us for a session with a delegation of five fascinating individuals from the “Walk in the U.S., Talk in Japan” program from the Cabinet Office of Japan presented by Keizai Silicon Valley. The purpose of this program is to promote understanding of Japan by having experts in various fields communicate with you and the Silicon Valley community. We will discuss Japanese society, its economy, women in management, politics, business and culture. We will also discuss Japan’s strengths and the challenges it currently faces. All sessions will be presented in English.

The delegation is headed by the Honorable Shotaro Oshima, former Japanese Ambassador to the Republic of Korea and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Ambassador, Permanent Mission of Japan to the International Organizations in Geneva. Ambassador Oshima will be joined by Mr. Jun Yamada, Counsel General of Japan in San Francisco, who will deliver Greetings on behalf of the Consulate.
