Description

How does it feel to have dyslexia? Find out through this interactive workshop that simulates the experiences and frustrations of a person with dyslexia trying to perform language related tasks. Participants rotate through a series of six stations which represent problems encountered in reading, decoding, and writing as well as visual, language, and auditory processing. The goal is to increase awareness and understanding of dyslexia through a first-hand experience.

Audience: General and Special Education Teachers, Parents, Reading Specialists, Interventionists, School Psychologists, School Administrators

Time: 6:00pm – 8:30pm Registration begins at 5:30pm
