Event description

Description

Join Kitsap County's Stormwater Program Manager Eva Crim on a Walk in the Park. Sponsored by the WorkingWell Program, join a group of county employees & their family and friends on the Clear Creek Trail. Prepare for a 2 hour hike at a moderate pace, for up to 3-4 miles. You can hike at your own pace and go as far as you desire. The walk will take place, rain or shine.

Located on our beautiful Kitsap Peninsula, Clear Creek Trail is almost 8 miles from Silverale Waterfront Park on Dyes Inlet north to Trigger Avenue. It follows Clear Creek as it meanders through riparian areas, wetlands, and remnant forests. Hard to believe it is in the middle of Silverdale! Come explore and learn all of the work our own Stormwater, Parks and DCD has made in the Park, supporting more volunteers than you could shake a stick at!

Parking is available at the Dog Park on 11601 Silverdale Way. Parking is also available south of the Dog Park at the red garage building. It is on the east side of Silverdale Way, at the Traffic light.
