Event description

Description

Empathy is the ability to share another’s experience or feelings without having shared the actual experience. Simulating the experience of living in poverty will develop educators' empathy for students and families who attend our schools every day. Please join Dr. Raj Sethuraju, Clara Waddell, and Lindsay Cates in experiencing the challenges of poverty and homelessness, in developing empathy, and in discussing action steps to build inclusive practices and classrooms with all learners.

A light dinner will be served.

A presentation for all educators, administrators, board members, students, and families.

Volunteers may register here too!
