Walk, Bike or Drive... We Want You Alive; A Vision Zero Safety Workshop
Thu, April 27, 2017, 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM EDT
Did you know that there were 67 driver fatalities, 57 pedestrian fatalities and 7 bicyclist fatalities from 2011-2014? No one should die on our streets while trying to get to work, school, or run errands. And we want it to end!
Come out to our first workshop, Walk, Bike or Drive... We Want You Alive: A traffic safety workshop at the Tenleytown Library on April 27th at 6:30 pm. We will be discussing Vision Zero, which is the initiative to end all traffic fatalities by 2024. Next, we will take a field trip to an intersection and look at ways we can redesign it and make it safer for all roadway users. This workshop will be informative. You will have an opportunity to make sure your voice is heard and help make the streets you use in your neighborhood safer.
Join us April 27th at 6:30 pm at Tenleytown Library located at 4450 Wisconsin Avenue Northwest, Washington, DC 20016.
