Walk and Talk with local MPs to tell them what you care about that could be harmed by climate change. This will be chance to get to know our representatives on a gentle walk along the Sheffield and Tinsley Canal (for up to 1 hour).
Two local MPs have been invited, anyone from these constituencies is welcome to book and attend:
Gill Furniss - Brightside and Hillsborough (covers Burngreave, Fir Vale, Firth Park, Southey, Parson Cross and Hillsborough) - CONFIRMED
Clive Betts - Sheffield South East (covers Birley, Beighton, Frecheville, Mosborough, Westfield, Darnall, Woodhouse and Handsworth) - INVITED

If you are using public transport, the nearest bus stops are in Wharf St, Castlegate, the Wicker, Commercial St and the Sheffield Interchange. The bridge that carries the tram over Park Square roundabout also offers pedestrian access to the canal basin at Victoria Quays from Castlegate (5 min walk) or the railway station (10 minute walk). If you need to park a vehicle, the nearest car park is North Quay Drive, turn left off the Parkway going out of Sheffield. This costs £3 for the whole day and is 5 minutes from cafe bar 1819.
