Walbury Hill Climb Community "Come and Try it" Race

The Walbury Hill Climb takes place on Sunday 1st October 2017 and entries to the main event are restricted to those who are members of a cycling club that is affiliated to the national governing body, Cycling Time Trials.

Following many requests, this "come and try it" community event is a chance for recreational cyclists of all abilities to see how they compare against the top hill climbers on the slopes of Walbury Hill. All riders in this community event will start at 1 minute intervals and ride on their own against the clock.

The course is on a closed road and is just over 1 mile long. The maximum gradient is 10%.

Riders must be over 10 years old and a suitable cycling helmet must be worn by all competitors.

40 places are available and a start list will be published on social media the day before the event.

Only riders who have paid in advance will be able to participate and you will be required to sign on at the race HQ and be given a race number to take part.
