From all of us at Public Art Saint Paul, we hope you will join us for a fabulous evening to gather and welcome the first installation of the Wakpa Triennial Art Festival of the Twin Cities!
Join us at the Intercontinental Saint Paul Riverfront Hotel in downtown Saint Paul on Tuesday, June 20th for a delicious dinner and exciting program with artists, arts, business, and political leaders, and art advocates to celebrate the Opening Week of the Wakpa Triennial Art Festival, which opens to the public on Saturday, June 24th and runs through September 16th.
You’ll want to be here to greet and meet Triennial artists and other attendees. You’ll experience an unforgettable evening with Miss Shannon Paul as the event M.C. You’ll hear from very special guests including:
Remarks from elected officials, prayer from Dakota elder Chris Mato Nunpa, PhD; special talk and activity with the legendary artist, Wing Young Huie; poetry read by Minnesota Poet Laureate Gwen Westerman, chances to win fabulous prize drawings, and MORE.

- Almond Walleye: Northern Walleye, Toasted Almond Rice, Roasted Garlic and Caper Sauce
-Roast Chicken Breast: Pan Gravy, Buttermilk Mashed Potato
