About Wake of the Fallen:

A Danceworks CoWorks Series event, choreographed by Artistic Director Niki Wozniak, and with original music composed by Alex Coleman, Wake of the Fallen explores the subject of addiction. Based on personal interviews with recovered addicts, this show weaves the gripping story of two people in the throes of addiction through captivating contemporary dance.

Blending passion and high-octane athleticism, Wake of the Fallen features an outstanding cast of 8 of Toronto’s hottest contemporary dancers: Tyler Gledhill, Niki Wozniak, Laura Ovcjak, Matthew Montgomery, Kiri Figueiredo, Ryan Lee, Tyler Evan Webb, and emerging artist Caroline Sawyer.

Opening the show, are works by independent choreographer Ryan Lee (Mar 27th & 28th), and in'trinzik Dance Project (Mar 29th & 30th).
