Description
In celebration of the Black Panther movie release, BLACKSCI-FI.COM will be hosting a private Black Panther movie screening on Saturday, February 17, 2018, at the UA Riverview Stadium 17 in Philadelphia, PA.
An all-day celebratory event, the private screening will kick off at with a cosplay parade featuring Eric "The Smoke" Moran & his Cosplay All-Stars, “Marvel Movie Trivia” with Black Tribbles, and a presentation on the History of Black Comics by East Coast Black Age of Comics (ECBACC, Inc.). Each guest will receive a swag bag featuring commemorative “Wakanday” merchandise, including a t-shirt and exclusive artwork created by artists Shawn Alleyne of Pyroglyphics Studios and Miguel Blanco.
The screening will be followed by Vibranium Nights, a special (21+ ONLY) Black Panther panel discussion and after-party held at Amalgam Comics & Coffeehouse beginning at 8:30pm. The panel will be moderated by Vince Williams (Co-Host of THE MICHEAUX MISSION). Panelists include journalist Dr. Marc Lamont Hill (BET, CNN), actress Christina Jackson (Boardwalk Empire, Outsiders), actor Dorian Missick (Southland, Haven, Animal Kingdom), comic book illustrator Eric Battle (Marvel, DC), and Amalgam Comics & Coffeehouse owner Ariell Johnson. After the panel, stay for drinks, dancing, and conversation. Music provided by Philly's own DJ Femi & Celebrity Special Guest DJ, Dorian Missick.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
The "Black Panther" screening is rated PG-13 and the daytime portion of the event is family friendly. The panel discussion & after-party is 21+ ONLY.
