We're back with another wonderful day of learning, networking and fun at the WABW Tech Camp.
If you have attended the camp in the past, this is a great opportunity to review what you have learned or move ahead. If you haven’t, this will be one of the best tech experiences you’ll ever have. Just ask any of our past campers.
Tech Camp will be held on Saturday, Nov. 5, 2011, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Temple University's Annenberg Hall, Diamond and 13th Streets, Philadelphia.
The camp will be hands-on, and you will leave with a blog, Facebook account and lots of information you can use.
• How to focus your blog, set it up with pages, keep it updated and maintain it
• How to shoot photos and videos, and upload them to the web (YouTube or
• How to create a Facebook account, and use it as a marketing tool for your business and/or blog/website.
The camp will include a continental breakfast and networking lunch.
Apple computers will be available in the seminar room. The room can get a bit chilly, so dress warmly or bring a sweater or jacket.
You can also follow us on Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/weareblackwomen. If you haven't set up your own username on Facebook (as we have here), it's a good idea to do so. It's a way of branding you and/or your company. You can set it up here.
