Join us for a dynamic day of fun and education as we present STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Agriculture, and Mathematics) innovations. This conference is for students 3rd grade and up, high school students thinking of a career in a STEAM field, educators (6 PGPs) wanting to include STEAM in their classroom, and community members who are curious about how STEAM innovations in the classroom can impact a community.
We are honored to be able to bring Astronaut David Wolf, MD EE to the 2017 “Wabash Valley Maker's Fest” to share not only his ideas on the importance of STEAM education, but also his experiences as an American astronaut, medical doctor, and electrical engineer. Attendees can engage in exciting presentations by members of EdTech Heroes, Rose Hulman Institute of Technology, Purdue University, Indiana State School of Technology, Crane Naval Defense, and many more.
